Lessons & Instruments

Learn skillfully. Play faithfully.

Every lesson is 60 minutes, online, and one-on-one — blending technique, theory, songwriting, improvisation, and learning by ear, all rooted in a heart for worship.

Guitar

Master the instrument — inside and out.

  • Deep music theory: keys, modes, harmony, and how songs actually work
  • Songwriting from the ground up — writing lyrics, chord progressions, and full arrangements
  • Improvisation and lead playing: scales, phrasing, and playing what you hear
  • Learning songs by ear — the skill that unlocks every other skill
  • Technique that lasts: fingerstyle, hybrid picking, strumming, and clean lead technique
  • Repertoire from hymns and modern worship to rock, blues, and singer-songwriter
  • Reading charts, the Nashville Number System, and playing confidently on a worship team

Bass

The foundation every band stands on.

  • Groove, pocket, and locking in with drums
  • Walking lines, fills, and dynamics that serve the song
  • Theory that makes the fretboard make sense
  • Learning bass lines by ear and playing for the church with confidence
